STUDENT VOICE & AGENCY
At Mount Pleasant Road Primary School we value student voice and always aim to empower students to be active and responsible learners. We provide many opportunities for students to take ownership of their learning and share their strengths. Some of these include:
- Student Representative Council (SRC) for Foundation to Grade 6
- Junior School Rotations chosen by students
- Investigate, Create, Express (ICE) with some groups run by Grade 6 students
- Year 6 Leadership Program
- Year 6 Leaders responsible for running assembly each week
- SRC class letterboxes
- Students involved in curriculum planning days
- Pleasant Snacks
- Recess Radio
- Student goal setting
- Student Portfolios
- Pleasant Newsletter (termly)
- Lunchtime clubs
- Student Voice Wall and surveys
