The First Aid room is located in the Administration building.
If you notice your child is unwell in the morning, please keep them home from school.
Parents will be contacted if students have reported to First Aid and are required to be sent home – students are not allowed to make their own arrangements home.
Parent/Guardian and emergency contact information is critically important for when your child is in First Aid. Please ensure you email the school via mt.pleasant.road.ps@education.vic.gov.au with any changes to your details.
Please notify the school of any current or past health issues that we need to monitor for your child.
No student can have medication in their possession, all medication is kept in the First Aid room.
The Medical Authority Form attached, is to be completed and signed by a parent/guardian for all medication. Medication is required to be provided in its original prescribed package with your child’s name and the dosage of the medication.
If the medication requires to be cut, then you are required to bring pre-cut medication in a tablet container.
Medication can be refrigerated if needed.

DownloadWe require all students who suffer from asthma to provide the attached Asthma Action Plan, which is completed by a doctor. A spacer with the prescribed reliever medication must be provided in conjunction with the Asthma Action Plan.

DownloadAn EPIPEN must be provided for anaphylactic students and must be renewed prior to the EpiPen expiring date.
The Anaphylaxis Action Plan must be completed by a doctor.

DownloadAn allergy is a reaction to a specific scenario or object. Students with allergies require the attached Allergy Plan to be completed by a doctor.
Your child’s medication must be provided with the Allergy plan.

DownloadWe require all students who suffer from Diabetes to complete the attached Diabetes Action Plan prior to commencing of school.
All relevant medications and supplies should be provided, if your child suffers from hypoglycemia/hyperglycemia.
